Kaplan Publishing just put up the new website to support the book "To the Rescue - Stories of Healthcare Workers at the Scene of Disasters". It's still a work in progress, but it tells you more about the stories and includes the author bios. Check it out here!

Sam - As the song goes "Sitting here in limbo, waiting for the dice to roll / Sitting here in limbo, got some time to search my soul" . . . Had the monthly CT-1 mtg last night and they said it is not a matter of "if", but "when" we'll get activated for a 2 week all expenses paid (well sort of) vacation in the sunny Caribean. Not that I haven't bee packed (and repacked) since the afternoon of the 12th! My first deploy ! ! ! The Disasters gods willing maybe we'll meet up over there.
